Sharing A Smile

The Chinese State Circus are still out in Angola and having a brilliant time performing for everyone who is attending their shows! And boy, is there a lot of people to perform too! Not only is it a great pleasure for The Chinese State Circus to be over there, making history by being the first international entertainment to perform live in over 40 years(!). But it's also been a great opportunity to share a smile and spread a little bit of joy throughout this amazing location. This week The Chinese State Circus have visited two Hospitals which are caring for sick and poorly children, and they have enjoyed every moment of performing to and meeting these brave little treasures.

The circus performers demonstrated their unique and best circus act to big groups of the children and staff in two separate shows. Unfortunately though, some of the children couldn't be moved from their beds on the wards to join in the fun... But that won't stop the Chinese State Circus! The performers adapted their routine and scaled it down slightly so they could give all the patients an experience they will never forget.
One thing the visit proves is that despite language barriers a smile is worth a thousand words. These children could never have imagined such an experience! For everyone involved the day was a massive success. The staff and patients were so warm and welcoming, the Chinese State Circus simply didn't want to leave. Angola has been truly unique experience for all involved and a visit that every one will remember forever. The Chinese State Circus would like to thank every one involved in making this experience and visit to this wondrous place so brilliant. There's still a few shows left to do to round up the Mulan tour, but the Chinese State Circus will be back in the UK at the start of the new year with their all new Yin Yang tour!
